About the artwork:
This artwork contrasts both hard and soft-edged shapes and was made in reference to a square grid but not strictly followed. The contrasting colors and seemingly random shapes are made into a pattern once looked at from afar. This work is representative of the Gestalt principle - wherein the whole object is perceived as more than the sum of its parts.
