About the artwork:
The painting portrays a tiger standing on an isolated platform composed of multiple blocks. The tiger composes itself in a courageous manner ready to make a move anytime. The blocks depict life’s limitations and an opportunity to show one’s courage and bravery.

About Nikko Arbilo:
Nikko Arbilo recently graduated Cum Laude with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas. He was an editorial cartoonist from grade school to high school. He was the creative director of UAPSA-UST and an artist of the Varsitarian during his college. Aside from doing architectural and other design works, he also does art for commissions and personal works. He makes artworks either in a traditional or digital medium such as painting and illustration. His art aims to tackle stories about life, Filipino culture, heritage, and social issues. Nikko uses his art to tell the story of his time.
