About the artwork
The Technicolor series has always been a form of estrangement from reality borne out of dissatisfaction with the world as it is. This series is a glimpse into how I see the world or more accurately, how I wish the world looked. Vibrant, surreal and optimistic. This particular piece was shot towards the end of sunset just as the finals rays of sunlight were slowly fading. Although very little trace of the circumstances remain, it's a portrait of how I wished the scene looked like in that moment.

About Gabe Ferrer:
Gabe Ferrer is an urban ladscape photographer and director. He's known for his use of vibrant colors in his photographs. Whereas most seek to tell stories and to capture moments as truthfully as possible, his brand of photography seeks to be more of an extrapolation of reality.
The whole purpose of the technicolor series is to estrange people from the scenes and make people take a step back and look at the everyday world with new awareness.
